STEM Early Field Experiences (Paid!)

​The Early Field Experience is coordinated by the SMEC office. Undergraduate majors in science or in mathematics who have expressed a strong commitment to becoming a math and/or science teacher (typically Single Subject) are placed in a middle school with one of SMEC's Mentor Teachers for 7 hours per week for 8 months @$10/hr.
